Who we are

AI Ledger (sole proprietorship, registered with FBR, Pakistan) operates Gallah. Gallah is the customer-facing brand of AI Ledger. In this policy, “we” means AI Ledger and “Gallah” means our customer-facing service.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Gallah, information may include:

• Your WhatsApp phone number and basic account or contact details.
• Messages and voice notes you send to Gallah, including the words transcribed from audio.
• Shop transaction details you choose to record, such as sales, purchases, expenses, customer credit, item names, amounts and dates.
• Messages you send when you contact support, and technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We use information to receive and interpret entries, create and display records and reports, respond to support requests, maintain the service, investigate errors, protect against misuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Speech and language processing

To interpret voice notes and messages, the service may use speech-to-text systems and language-model processing. This processing can include the message or audio content and information needed to understand an entry. The output may be incomplete or wrong. Check each proposed entry before confirming it. Service providers may process information for us under their service terms and safeguards; they may not use it for unrelated purposes on our behalf.

WhatsApp and Meta

Gallah uses WhatsApp as a messaging platform. WhatsApp and Meta may collect and process information under their own privacy notices and terms. We are not WhatsApp or Meta, and Gallah is not an official WhatsApp or Meta product. Your use of WhatsApp remains subject to the applicable platform terms.

Storage and retention

Information is stored on systems used to operate Gallah and is accessible only to people and providers who need it for service, support, security or legal purposes. We retain account and transaction information while it is needed to provide the service and maintain your ledger. You may request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Copies held in protected backups may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a dispute or security issue.

When information may be shared

We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, transcribe, interpret or support Gallah; with WhatsApp/Meta as part of message delivery; or where disclosure is required by law, needed to protect users or the service, or needed to handle a legal claim. We do not sell or rent your information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet service or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or information that is not needed to make a shop record.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your Gallah account, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity checks. You can stop sending new entries at any time. To make a request, email us or follow the WhatsApp instructions on our Data Deletion page.

Children

Gallah is intended for shopkeepers and business users, not children. Do not use the service if you are not legally able to do so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above.
